Inspired by the Sound Health Initiative of the National Institutes of Health, Ms. Fleming’s Music and the Mind presentation also welcomes local and national experts to discuss the science and experiences with music and how it relates to health and the brain.
To celebrate the 20th year of professional opera in Polk County, the opera committee presents superstar soprano Renée Fleming in her only Florida performance with orchestral accompaniment. Ms. Fleming will perform favorite opera arias as well as popular music from Broadway and movies. Reserved seating.
